Diamond Programme
The qualification for a diamond expert is considered essential for individuals working in the field of gemstones and jewellery. The Diamond Programme provides the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for the determination and valuation of cut diamonds (4 C) and, additionally, the basic provisions of law in preparing a written expert opinion and certificate. The practical techniques of distinguishing between natural and synthetic diamonds and simulants as well as the identification of treatments are part of the course contents as well.
The Diamond Programme consists of 4 one week individual courses, including the final exam in week DG 4. Students can enroll for any one course in the obligatory sequence DG1-DG4. Each course ends with a test and the successful completion will be certified.
