This year we celebrate the 50th anniversary of our full-time training centre for gemmology.
Already since the first years after the German Gemmological Association (DGemG) was founded in 1932, courses and seminars in gemmology are offered. In the 1970s, the step was taken to establish our training centre, which was inaugurated in 1975.

On the same weekend, the Idar-Oberstein Jazz Festival and the Mineral Fair will take place, so visitors can expect to enjoy a variety of interesting activities. Due to the large number of expected guests, it is recommended to make a hotel reservation as soon as possible.
