Successful completion of the individual training programmes in Gemmology, Diamond Grading and Pearls/Organic Substances results in a certificate of achievement which entitles the holder to apply for specialist membership of the German Gemmological Association (FGG.), a high gemmological qualification with international reputation. Applying for and being awarded specialist membership entails the obligation to keep one's gemmological knowledge up to date by attending regular special training seminars.
